OUR LADY OF THE VALLEY SOCIAL MINISTRY:

“Our Social Ministry responds to the human needs of the parish and local community.  It is a supplement to the overall ministry of the parish in conjunction with clergy, faculty and staff.  Social Ministry calls those baptized in Christ to live the gospel message of compassion by reaching out to others.  The Parish Social Minister exercises leadership in organizing the faith community to respond to parish and community needs and to address those needs through direct service, referrals, and tangible assistance.”
